Why Do I Need An Estate Plan if I Don't Have Much Money?

In general, everyone over 18 could benefit from an Estate Plan. For some people the most important thing is to provide for "just in case" unplanned periods of temporary or permanent incapacity. Having a will makes it easier on your loved ones after you die. And even if you don't have much money, if you die without a will, the state determines what happens to what you do have.
